Drawn to Abstract Expressionism, Christiane Carman explores color, image and shape inspired by the energy of city life. With blocks of color and architectural lines, she reveals the experience of city neighborhoods where one can turn a corner at any time and see something never seen before.

Born in San Francisco, raised in Northern California, Christiane attended the University of Southern California and graduated from the University of California Santa Cruz. She currently lives and paints in Los Angeles. Oil is her medium of choice.
